This program is designed to allow employee family member interns, “TrendTerns,” the opportunity to receive behind the scenes, real world work experience from a leading cybersecurity company.
The Summer Family Internship program is a six-to-eight week program that equips the student with knowledge of how different pieces of the company, from IT to communications, work together to improve cybersecurity for all. Focusing on not only improving their analytical and management skills, but also practicing the ability to merge and build relationships with people in different roles and departments.

The company’s internship program influences and cultivates a basic knowledge of cybersecurity and interest in a newer generation of young professionals. Throughout their time at Trend Micro, they are provided the opportunity to take on different responsibilities and learn time management skills, all while earning a paycheck. TrendTerns also learn about the tactics, techniques and procedures used to protect valuable information.
