Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk., (Telkom), the Indonesian state-owned telecommunication and network services enterprise, to provide Internet security to Telkom customers. According to the International Telecommunications Union (ITU)’s recent survey, The State of Broadband, 25 billion devices are estimated to be connected to the Internet in eight years. In Asia Pacific, there are already more than 1 billion Internet subscribers and close to 3 billion mobile subscribers. Within these users, more than 200 million people are on Facebook. In Indonesia, there are more than 55 million Internet users In Indonesia and more than 51.5 million users are on Facebook in 2012.1 Due to this increasing popularity of social networking and mobile internet usage in Indonesia, the cybercrime is flourishing. By working with Trend Micro, Telkom is able to provide comprehensive online protection to their mobile Internet users.
